Height adjustment
« on: May 30, 2013, 06:57:09 PM »
Bill, how can I get the height adjustment higher than the adjustment is able to go ?  The bottom of the mounting brackets is a height of 88" from the deck. When the awning is extended all the way (11 1/2') the height  is only 67". I have the adjustment all the way up. It really stinks to have to duck under the end flap.
It is the 15' pro XL.

Bob, The Pro XL has a heavier rail and longer arms. So you had 7' 9" to the top of the bracket when you installed it? Did you have somebody hold up the arm when you were adjusting it?  Make sure you keep loosening the back screw (one behind the adjustment screw) as your going up with the awning. We usually lift it up as far as it goes then loosen that back screw and try to go up more. It doesn't show that in the video.

Here is a video of adjusting the pitch.
